Fall has arrived

With all the news about the economy and the elections (US and Canada) it is good to get outside and appreciate nature and the seasons marching forward. This year felt like a particularly fast transition from the greens of summer to yellow in the trees.

Hmmm. Not sure on the new additions. I was able to add these right away. I haven't seen the case where they are accepted but not in the portfolio. I find that once accepted they appear right away on 'My Profile' even if they aren't there when you click on 'Latest Uploads', etc. If you know the ID, it should work...

I think the beauty of nature is one of the reasons that I love photography. Our colors haven't taken off yet but I also think that winter has its own beauty. It's helpful to see your fall color photos, Brad. So far mine have been turned down as too many of that! I tried to add a photo but somehow it's not working. If the photos have been accepted but are not yet in the portfolio, is it too soon to try to add one to a blog?

It seems to get shorter every year. Very nice images, good luck with them!

Hey Brad, Yes, the economy and politics are ugly. I live in an area that felt it was immune to failing economy and yet there are foreclosure signs going up everywhere! Thank you for the reminder that nature continues to offer breathtaking beauty regardless of the economic climate.
