Hi Altaf, it is the time for Spain this world cup, they have never won so will be nice to see them reach their potential, as a South African I would love to see them do well, but a win is far and beyond imagination at this point, but one never knows. I think Germany did great against a weak Aussie side, this will not be the case against the bigger name countries though :0)
Warren, you are lucky, I wish I was you, well I love this game more than cricket. I would love to see a new nation being the winner this time. I'm a die hard fan of many teams and many players who are spread across several teams. I would like to see all matches played hard. It was disappointing to see Germany Australia Match.
Sure there are lots of football fans here among us! I would like just see more goals, something like yesterday in the match between Germany and Australia ( poor Australien... ) I guess we are going to see great footbal yet (Netherland, Spain,Brazil...)!
Hi, I am in South Africa and have watched all the games so far, unfortunately from behind a desk as I am working for most of the games as High Level Support on critical networks for FIFA during the festivities. The good thing is the FIFA accreditation, which means that I can go to the stadiums on days that I am not working (and they are very few)...Great atmosphere here at the moment though and I am sure it will be successful...
I have watched all the games so far, and I hope to see them all! I`ts a great competition, where only the best can get! Good luck to everyone!
A nice 30C day drew me out of the house today ;) My parents were just there, though, so I was wearing a World Cup hat while I worked in the sun!
Don't know the first thing about soccer. I have a soccer collection and a blog but am clueless. I did hear the USA tied their game.
