Ghent, a city you have to visit as a photographer

Hi Photo-Maniacs,

If you come to Belgium and you want to visit one of Belgiums' most beautiful cities and you think it is Bruges or Brussels or Antwerp well, I have to say that there's another city in Belgium which is really beautiful and Historical: Ghent. Put it on your list, you won't regret it!

This city has everything. From historical buildings, lots of festivals and a super community of nice and helpful people ...

I selected some pictures here to show you the beauty of this city and I hope to meet some people soon who came and took a peek because of this blog. Because Ghent is my hometown and I would love to meet other people working with dreamstime.

Ghent has many Pleasure harbors and is a city with many canals.

Gravensteen, this castle is unique because of its position in the middle of the historical citycentre...

Winterfestival and a row (rare) of traditional Christian churches.

The famous "Gentse feesten", a huge free festival in summer.

Nature is also beautiful in Ghent with many natural parks. This is a view in the park: Gentbrugse meersen... with beautiful arty statues.

I could show you more of course, but the best way to discover this city is visiting the city or visiting my portfolio. Many pictures in it are made in Ghent, my lovely Hometown.
