Give Thanks, Give Back

Give thanks, Give back

It's the season for many things - picture-perfect snow falls and autumnal trees, holiday feasts with family and harvest festivals are the first things that come to mind, but everyone has their traditions and nostalgia for this time of year. Universally, it's a season with more than a few reasons to be thankful.

What is the Dreamstime team thankful for, you ask? Our community. Each one of you makes up Dreamstime, and we strive to support the entire community. We listen when you tell us what you need or want. And we deliver. This year, Dreamstime wanted to say thanks to you - our members - by supporting the causes that mean the most to you. You make Dreamstime the community that it is, and to show our appreciation, we're kicking off our "Give Thanks, Give Back" initiative on November 10th. Thanksgiving is about giving thanks and giving back.

Give thanks, Give back

Collectively, the Dreamstime community sees and connects with the world in a truly wonderful way. And that's why the charity of choice will be up to you. What issues are you passionate about? What parts of the world do you care about giving back to? It's your chance to make a difference so tell us which charity should receive the donations

Here's how it will work:

1.Go to the Donate page

2.Donate Dreamstime credits/earnings

3.Dreamstime will match the value of your donation

4.Choose a charitable cause and post your choice on our Message Board here

5.Share this cause and ask your friends to join in through your Facebook, Twitter, or Google accounts. We'll count only the votes on our message board but we're counting on you to spread the word.

On November 25th, we'll announce the charity that was most popular among all of you, and celebrate the amount we raised as a community. So get started! Together we can give thanks and give back.

Great gesture & very nice step from DT & DT members!
But in my humble opinion, I prefer to know what cause I'm supporting first!
Keep up the great work DT! :)
