Goodbye, Ellen Boughn...

During two wonderful years, we could enjoy fresh and inspirational articles of blog "Stock Photography that Sells" by stock expert Ellen Boughn. We could read hundreds of tips about how to improve as stock photographers and illustrators. We were showered with ideas what concepts to shoot, how to compose our images, how to find inspiration, how to work with models.

Now she goes and works for other projects, especially for her new book. But these tips will remain as priceless assets in any nowadays and future stock photographer's knowledge base.

I tried to categorize Ellen's advice and here is the result:

You are welcome, Henrik! I wish I could change the title of that blog. Since August is approaching, it's more like Welcome, Ellen Boughn! than Goodbye... :))

Wow! Thank you for creating this list!

Just, thank you!

Wow! What can I say! Fantastic advice for us newbies :0)

Thanks Maigi for putting together such a comprehensive summary of key articles Ellen wrote and compling them all in one easily accessible place. This was probably VERY time consuming, but will really be an invlauable resourse for all now and in the future.

Thanks for the good words, Eti! I just work with huge amounts of information every day and I need a system to find a needed piece quickly. That's what that urge of categorizing... :) But I think those advises and tips from Ellen are so valuable, that it would be a waste to let them just buried under loads of information. Especially when Ellen had been so generous to let them online, while completing her book about the same subject.

Thanks for your work getting these all into groups! As always your willingness to help your fellow contributors should be applauded!
