How to organize portfolio?

Hello everyone.

i am relatively new here so I would like some insight about organizing photos. I see you can create collections with your own and images of other contributors. But is there any way you can organize your own portfolio so you can keep track about your own photos? can you create some sort of categories? my portfolio is really small but what when you have hundreds and thousands of images. how do you organize so you don't get lost?

i would appreciate any help.

neither collection or lightboxes seem good enough for me to origanize portfolio here on dreamstime. if a client comes to my page will find a real mess.
even for me its weird to see how my page shows on the profile page.
is nothing i can do better??

Patl I don't know if you meant how to make collections show on your profile?! You have to have at least more four photographer's images in your collection to show up as a managed collection! Hope this helped!

I also have a relatively small portfolio, but decided to start collections early on, to stay organized. I link them from my profile. I wanted to make it easier for buyers to find certain types of images, if they were in my portfolio.

I mainly use collections and link them from my profile.

Lightboxes are nice because they report on the total earnings of that batch of images.

Hi ) Go to your management area, and then look for buyers area. Although you are not a buyer - you may want to use LIGHTBOXES feature for organizing your own images - and create as many lightboxes as you wish :) Hope that was useful. Greetings! Dmitry
