Ideas with fruits and how not to take photographs

One day Jelena ran into the studio with an idea to make a photo with a couple of oranges like this one. So i made this shot. And another couple of hundreds.

Sometimes this happens to me. And I don't really know how to deal with it. I work through the whole photosession up to the end and only then I realize that the camera was set on iso400. Who could have thought? However, Dreamstime accepted all of the photos despite the disastrous noises.

ISO 400 shouldn't create such a big problem with noise. You will easily be able to remove the happens to me as well....lovely images as well.

Sometimes happened to me too (800 ISO instead of 200), and DT accepted my images.

When well exposed, modern cameras are fine even at 1600/3200. When you underexpose and lift shadows in post-processing, even at 200 ISO you'll get noise.

Couldn't be disastrous. Nice shots.

If you had a Nikon D700 working at ISO 800 would still be alright [ you might use noise reduction software ] however if the subject is moving fast e.g. runner, high jump, marching soldiers, racing cyclists you can use ISO 1600 . Sharpness is more important than noise. The editors know that high speed subjects require high ISO' s.
Artistic images sometimes require addition of noise ! David.

It often happens to me. I always note to myself I should perform a kind of checklist each time I switch my camera on, and I never do it lol. Wonderful captures there.

Does 400 iso create a lot of noise these days ? We all make mistakes.
