One of the largest topics on news broadcasts lately everywhere is the financial crisis or credit crisis. It has lead to extreme market volatility and market upswings and downswings. Some people are losing lots of equity, whiles others are trying to capture it and get things at a bargain. Now regardless of what your theory is in investing. Whether you are putting your money in a secure bond or value investing. One things for sure, you can use the current market right now to increase your earnings instantly on Dreamstime depending on where you are living in the world right now. How? Well it comes down to the current exchange rate. The US dollars is rising, and most other countries is falling. And since Dreamstime pays in USD, it may be a good time to cash out instead of leaving it in your account.

Here are some numbers for for your information (please remember these are the rates as I'm am writing this blog):

1 USD = 0.79541 EUR

1 USD = 0.63750 GBP

1 USD = 93.8633 JPY

1 USD = 1.28341 CAD

1 USD = 1.62759 AUD

1 USD = 1.15398 CHF

1 USD = 27.2774 RUB

The differences are pretty significant compared to before the crisis.

Anyone know a website where we can see the history of currency exchange rates. It would be interesting to see the difference over a period of time.
Whoops just find one:

I'm also in Canada, so the camera gears at the local stores now start to look attractive compared to the US online ones.

Hey Brad. Thanks for the added info about PayPal. That info will be useful to others. For me, I've been asking for cheques mailed instead. Dreamstime gives about cool Dreamstime car window stickers along with the cheques.

As a Canadian, I'm looking forward to taking advantage of the exchange rate next payout :) Note that if you take the payout in PayPal you'll still have to convert to your local currency or transfer the money out of PayPal to actually get the exchange rate...
