Letting go part 2

Last week I posted this blog about letting go

https://blog.dreamstime.com/2009/08/31/letting-go_art30284

A few days ago, I saw a blog about different ways to find where your photos are used. I went to Amazon and found my dog in a book. I ordered the book of course. It is called

Knack Dog Care and Training: A Complete Illustrated Guide to Adopting, House-Breaking, and Raising a Healthy Dog. Hooch is on pg 202.The chapter is called Saying goodbye. How ironic is that. I cannot wait to get the book; maybe it will help me with

Letting go.

Thanks everyone for all of your kinds words and I want to thank DT and the person who purchased my photo. Now I know he will live on ,not only in my heart but also in others.

Hugs Debbie

Thanks Jalama and Girlychic.Parrypix he is still with me.I had him at the Vets Fri.They say he is not in a lot of pain at this time. Today he was running and acting young for a few minutes I think he knows the time is getting near.I received the book and it is great. It also gives me more knowledge of what and when I need to let go.
Thanks Debbie

He is very sweet looking. He has a constant smile. My heart is with you and your pooch. I have an old dog too and just always wonder about the end.

How wonderful for you to have such a find for a memory of a pet. Pets are like apart of the family, and such a loss when they are gone. My dogs are like a comforting best friend, they don't judge, yell, nag, or condemn, and they are a sure thing for listening to all things you have to say.
Be Blessed!

Debbie,
I am sorry about your loss.
Our pets are part of our family and we can never be prepared when the time comes. The way I dealt with my grief was by gathering all the pictures I ever took of my pet and created a photo album. At first the tears wouldn't stop running when I would look at the photos, now I smile and laugh when I remember the things she used to do.
I love to look at my baby. She will always be with me just as Hooch will be with you.

What a beautiful old boy! He looks very contented. It's great that his image will be in the book. It's a good memorial for an old friend :0)

I am glad your pet is imortalized in the book. Dare I ask what an image used in a book pays you for the privilege ? David.
