I’m planning my mini-vacation to London. I’m leaving on March 1 and will spend a few days there on my way to President Obama’s dad homeland (Africa). I hope to bring back some of London’s finest cityscape and street scenes, if weather permits. Anybody know of any sites there I should put on my list of things to see in London? I missed their big snow storm of the decade, but, I’m looking forward to the rainy spring weather when I get there, boots are packed.

There are so many things to see and photograph, one of the nicest architecture wise is London City Hall, from the same spot you can get good shots of Tower Bridge etc...Do the London Dungeons (gory pics, but for fun) and as suggested, take one of the open Bus tours, they give you a great idea of what there is and then you can take time to stop at the ones that you found the most interesting. Have a great time.

hey, definititely go to Buckingham palace, the tower of london, Trafalger quare, the London eye, you can take a boat rige down the Thames that is quite nice. The tube (underground train) is fairly easy to get round on, just watch your camera closely! Also you can do on one of those tourist open top buses and see most of the city. There is so much to see in London, great city!
have a great trip!
