Photography was something that I have been craving since I was very young but things were not so favorable until I bought my first DSLR. Capturing moments during my trips had been the only way I used to add photographs to my collection but things took a different route when I started with Dreams time..
With Google Plus being started a couple of month back and was amazed to note how photographers took up Google by storm to be the most active group there. Its great to see how people interested in photography flocking in and collaborating. Within a small span of time I have roughly 4900 photographers in my Google plus circle which only allows 5000 profiles per user leaving very few slots for my friends and family. But my interest in communicating with photographer made me even delete quite a lot of non-photographer profiles just to accommodate a few more photographers. Now my stream has nothing but photographs of my connections which gives me opportunity to learn a lot from what and how they shoot. The Meta data from the photographs are a great source of information on how the photographer shot those images.
Google plus also gives opportunity to post images that might not be stock worthy but the feedback, reaction from the people in the circle gives a chance to understand the mistakes and general interest of people.
Now I understand that this is not a lonely road that I have taken but a scenic one where there are lot more to accompany and share my journey.
please find my Google plus profile at http://gplus.to/vtr if you would like to connect to me, I would also appreciate if you can share your Google plus profile in comments for others to add you.
