Love to reach a goal

I love it when I reach a goal...

It at least makes me feel like I have accomplished something. One goal I set for myself was to have 400 images uploaded and accepted to Dreamstime, and to have at least 100 sales. well I did make it to the 400 mark this week, although I seem to be stuck on 70 in the sales department. however I am confident that number will change.

As 2012 comes to a close, it makes me more aware that 2013 will be a good year to once again sit down and set goals. one, it gives me a direction on those dreary Michigan days when I just want to stay in bed, two, it does give me quite a bit more self confidence when I reach them, and three, there is a huge amount of satisfaction to literately writing a list and then checking off the things I have done. as a visual person, this works very well with me, and reminds me that I can accomplish what I want no matter what it is. (ok, I am still working on the win the lottery idea...however I STILL am adding it to my list!)

I read a book called 'the secret' and one thing does stand out most in that writing.. we do attract what we most think about. if one is thinking about being successful, but also thinking oh but I am not good enough or I can NOT do such and such, then its the second, not the first idea that will happen. when all our energies go towards thinking how and why we can NOT do something, then that's is also where our energies will go. So first on my list for 2013 will be to set goals and then think positively that I WILL fulfill each goal. A great idea to put this year at the top of my list. what goals will be yours this year?
