Over the last year or so I've been using a new camera which has a terrific zoom reach, and that is primarily why I bought the camera in the first place!
I can also testify to the fact that the macro facility on this camera is equally impressive, and to date I have been very pleased with the results.
I set myself a challenge one day to photograph all things small and hidden including insects and the often hidden small details within flowers, to put the camera through its paces and reveal marvels of the miniature world!
Below are just some of the results of using the macro setting on my new camera taking shots of insects.
I use the term 'macro' loosely, as these photos were not taken with any specialised macro lenses, just the built in macro facility within the camera.
The photos below are macro shots of the inside details of flowers
The final photo of using macro indoors with tripod.
So, all in all, I am extremely pleased with the versatility of the zoom and macro ranges of this new camera and glad to have purchased it, as it has helped to take my photography to another level and to increase my stock portfolio!
