I played with that one day but didn't know how to save it so that the quality would be good enough. I'm so computer stupid sometimes! :-( Probably did the whole thing wrong but they were pretty......

Hi, how do you get white background fractal designs. Is there a way you can advice?

wow, it's the pretty good idea to use Noise Removal software. I have Neat Image - it works great! Thanks!
PS: on your image I see a little monkey, seagull and dragon with cowboy boots ;)

The one thing about this program.. it gives you the ability to see the optical illusion.. like how many things do you see in my artwork in the image.. not at 100% but at 50%.. werid dude.. I have to admit.. werid..

Dang, I am tired! Enjoy and sweet dreams!

It is a shame that it is only a Windows compatible program, these guys very rarely make it compitable with a mac.
So I will have to take your word for it that it is good.

I have 1.6 GHz processor and 1GB RAM that allows to render approx 7-8Mp image, but with only 2 oversample. Would like to have more, but then comes that familiar "not enough memory"... Then I resize with 80% or so. But I think if you have f.e. 4GB RAM you could oversample very nicely, without memory problems. :)

Thanks! I'm going to play around with it again. Maybe I'll let one sit all night. Hopefully, my system won't CRASH! :-) Appreciate the tip.

LOL...
So that's the secret.. I kinda knew that would be it...
When I try to render huge renders it tells me I don't have enough memory? WHAT?... l0)

THat' is what is awful.. the long rendering times.. ;0(....

Hey, that's my fractal! :) Thanks, Alice. What an honor. I love Apophysis. It's a really great tool to play with. This one is also made with Apophysis, maybe with 2.05 or something, can't remember. With 3D version you can have much more fun. I usually render very large images (it means, I leave the computer to render whole night, and do all the job while I am sleeping :) ) and then in the morning I downsize the image with photoshop to get rid of that spray paint look. That's my secret, maybe others have theirs. Would love to see your fractalwork too.

when you render.. the little gear thing click on that..you can change the location when the pop up menu comes up..
As are as the spec.. I think most people really do some adjusting in their paint program.. I can ask someone.. and get back with you..

I think I might have someone else join our group.. I am so excited!

I have tried this. Is there any secret in getting it from "Save to Disk" to a version that doesn't have all the spray paint (for lack of a better description) look? I get a pretty good design, the there's a lot of spread-out colored specks. I've searched the tuts I could find, but don't find an answer. You can really come up with some beautiful designs playing with it, though.
