New equipment

I have finally decided to invest in better equipment, and today I went out to Best Buy and bought the Nikon D7000 SLR camera that seems to produce better quality images than my Olympus E-510 does. I have been playing with it and the controls don't seem that difficult. The camera also has a double and triple exposure feature that I may use in a photo shoot or two. I have a few ideas how I can make that work. I'm anxious to get started...by the way, if anybody wants to buy a used Olympus E-510 and two excellent lenses I purchased for it not too long ago, I will be glad to negotiate. The lenses together cost me around $1300.00 and the zoom lens is practically like new.

I upgraded to the D7000 last year after almost 6 years using a D80. All in all, I love it.
If you are interested, please take a look at my blog post:
Lessons learned with my D7000 which describes some of the things I learned that I like and don't like so much while using it on a month-long trip to South Africa and Lesotho.
Good luck, but most important, have fun!
