One of these days....

Ship on the river ijssel deventer

I went out today to shoot some pictures of whatever crossed my path and I thought I did capture some nice ones, but when I looked on my computer, none of the photo's I took where satisfying enough to upload them to DT.

Cannon covered with winter snow

Winter snow on a bicycle

The weather was good, the sun was shining, but for some reason I just couldn't get it right.

The snow is falling again this evening ( I live in the Netherlands) so hopefully tomorrow it is a clear day again and I will be able to shoot some good ones like I did when it was nice, sunny weather the last time on a sunday. ( Two weeks ago....)

Every picture is unique as it is a moment frozen in time. On the street, events, festivals and definitely in nature, you will never get the same picture again.

not to worry. the fresh air did you good anyway.
i never really "set out to look for pictures" so to speak. i prefer to believe in the romantic old fashion idea of serendipity.
do you know what that means? serendipity. something lovely that finds you when you least expects it.
that's how most of my "found images" manifest.
just go out and enjoy mother nature, and let them (the images) "find you".

Nice images, I like the one with birds. I'm jealous, to see the lovely winter you guys have. I never saw snow.

Unfortunately, it takes a lot more to make a good photo, than to just look around with your eyes. That's one major challenge in photography. BTW, great photos. I liked them a lot.
