Photography can be freedom or captivity

I have always tried to keep Photography , in my opinion, an art form. A Freedom. Not that dirty word. A JOB. but it is sad to say, it is a Job. It seems like these days it's almost impossible to find a way to climb to the top of the ladder in the realm of Photography. So many photographers, everyone has a camera, some find a way to make money at it , some enslave their hours into the Service side.

Texas State Capital Building Austin Colorful Flowers

Family photos , weddings , birthday parties , events , there is money to be made if you are willing. Most of those things were never really that interesting in my eyes , lots of work and things I didn't want to be Obligated to.

Frio River near Concan West Texas Cold Springs river

I like to get away. explore. Take my camera along with me.

Texas Wind Energy Turbines across the Sunrise

I love this planet. Our Planet. Small blue dot. When will all agree how precious our planet is and invest in preserving nature.

360 Bridge or Pennybacker Bridge Sunset Panoramic

As a Stock Photographer I try to go to as many different locations as possible , try to take the best pictures at any given location. I used to shoot only at sunset and sunrise and golden hours , but now I will shoot at almost any time of day or night and Push myself to make the best photo possible for different needs.

Texas Ranch Amarillo High Lands of Lone Star State

I think the best way to be successful as a photographer is to not give up and continue to push your skills , upgrade your camera as technology increases , and invest in yourself. Creativity versus fear.

Snowmass monochrome amazing epic Mountain Scene

Just like Climbing a 14,000 Foot Mountain , One Step at a time. From the base of the mountain the route seems impossible , but with every step you can see your goal become more and more like a reality.
