PHOTOKINA 2008 - for you, for photographer

PHOTOKINA is the fair that gathers the whole imaging sector (the image media, image technologies and imaging markets). It took place on 23.09-28.09.2008 in Cologne, Germany.

The exhibition was HUGE. This year one could see 1579 exhibitions from 46 countries. The area of exhibition covered 230 000 m2. And 162 492 people from 156 countries made an effort to be there. I am sure that they didn't regret!!! One day definitely wasn't enough to see all what was offered.

It was great event as well for professional as for amateur photographers. One could actually try the best and the newest released cameras equipped with fantastic zoom lenses. It was possible to take part in photo shooting of professional models. It was GREAT FUN!!!

You should not miss it next time!

It was really great!
At the moment I have Nikon D70s, so for me it would be enough to have the new Nikon D90. But shooting with Hasselblad professional models - that was really fun! I don't think I will ever have Hasselblad in my backpack;-(
Shooting professional models is really great! They look fantastic, but the most important is that you don't have to move at all - they do the job for you. Now I see that it is a hard job. It is sooooo easy to recognize model with a lot of experiences and the one who has just started. The difference is soooo huge! The only image from photo session accepted HERE at DT is above (not the best one - maybe the best editorial).

Very interesting. What camera did you tried and liked the best? If money would not be limit, what would be the first thing you would buy? Did you shoot professional models?
I'm just curious...
