Photoshop

I'm new to photoshop and i need a way to learn photoshop to a good extent. I have thought of going to lessons but i neither have the time nor the money for that kind of activity. My other option is books and DVDs. I,ve found three books in amazon and one comes with dvd lessons.

Have you got any suggestions(books)?

Surf across internet and you will find a bunch of excellent free tutorials especially for photographers.

My photoshop knowledge has been very much self taught but for me the easiest way to learn was to identify what I want to achieve before I started with tutorials...

Take an image that you want to process and then ask yourself what would improve the image and then start looking for tutorials that will help you achieve your goal :)

Good luck!

I use Scott Kelby Training, at kelbytraining.com, plus I google the internet and find all kinds of stuff, from videos on YouTube, to tutorials at all kinds of blogs and web sites about photography. Look around on the net, you'll find more than you can use.

Try http://www.lynda.com. It is a wonderful site that I have a monthly subscription to for only $25. What a bargain. The instructors are the best in the world. Anything by Deke McClelland is a good choice.
