Picasa 3!

I like to use Picasa, Google's free photo editing software, to put finishing touches on my photos before I upload them. I use it to adjust color temperature, lighting, sharpen, etc. It's easy to use, and I get great results with it.

Google has just released a new version, Picasa 3. To see all the new features, and what has changed, CLICK HERE.

This is an image that I converted into black and white with Picasa.

Okay, maybe it's just me and my learning curve. :) There are so many buttons in Photoshop that I get confused. :)

Dear Ecletice, I agree with you but most of them have misconception that Adobe is for professionals, you can use Photoshop even if you are new, its as simple as using any other softwares.

I have it also. Haven't tried it yet but will in near future.

Yes, Adobe Photoshop has more features and probably is a LOT better for professional photographers, but I am a newbie, so for me, programs like Picasa and PhotoPlus are easy to use and also much less expensive, so that's why I've been using them. :) I probably will upgrade to Photoshop when I get more experience.

Thanks, but I prefer Adobe Photoshop, yeah this free version will be useful for many thanks for highlighting the features.

Thanks for the tip, will give it a try...
