Polish famous people

Polish culture is compound of Eastern and Western cultures. This mix is evident in our architecture, art, literature and other subjects.

I would like to present some famous people whose birthplace was Poland and have significant influence for European culture.

For music Frederic Chopin – famous pianist, for chemistry Maria Curie Skłodowska - she discovered "polonium”,

for astronomy Nicolaus Copernicus – he ‘stopped sun and moved earth’,

in literature Adam Mickiewicz, Czesław Miłosz, Wiesława Szymborka, – they write form the bottom of there hearts (I could write more names but it would be a several subject),

for movies Roman Polański, Krzysztof Kieślowski, Andrzej Wajda – great movie directors,

for world Pope John Paul II – great person (I can not say nothing more in one word abut this great, beloved individualistic).

Unique hard history, beautiful wild environment, influences in Poland and many others components gave our nation great persons and a reason to be proud of.

You know your photo was the only one on DT that shows Adam Mickiewicz. There are not many photos of our writers.
