Pro France with the Provence!

One of my favorite countries in Europe is France. I must admit I wasn't very keen on France till I visited its most beautiful area: the Provence.

Here's an impression of the Southern part of France, known for it's lavender fields (near Sault).

The lavender is a big part of the industry here. It is sold in bouquets on local markets and as plants that bring a lovely scent to your home

Due to their terrific climat, this part of France produces loads of different fruits and vegetables. You find all sorts of fresh produce on the local markets. The presentation of these products is excellent and for photographers like me there is a lot of "work" to do.

Someone must have a full time job stacking biscuits like these:

When you say Provence, you say Colors. The local products like pottery and textile are have traditional patterns and always bright colors:

I have a couple of more Provence files pending so might get back once these are online.

I think tomatoes from the picture with the ID number: 33417270 are very tasty!! Green ones are called zebra and are a variety originating in England. Actually I'm absolutely sure there are really some very tasty tomatoes!!:) And they also know the orange! Absolutely delicious!Thank you for sharing!!
