Recipe for a good photograph

Photography has always fascinated the one who get to look at it and those who enjoy taking it. A good shot a great composition and vivid appreciation is what a person expects from this art but not the least is a satisfaction of having captured the best moments of life.

But I always wonder is there one ideal equipment for all situations. I think the guru's in this area can best answer the question. But is it the equipment alone. Can a person without creativity or the skill when provided with the best equipment provide the greatest master piece.. It should be a combination of a good Camera and a equally good photographer to get the best shot. Nevertheless a novice is lucky to achieve a good result.

So is it

a. Imagination

b. Timing

c. Advanced Camera

I think it's a combination of a lot of things.

You can get a good shot with a less then great camera, but you can also get a bad shot with the most expensive gear out there.

You've got to have some imagination to see a great shot before you ever press the shutter. And you can't get anything if you are in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Maybe the "recipe for a good photograph" should read something like this:

Take your skill and mix it with your camera. Then add a dash of imagination and toss in a generous amount of beautiful location. Add a twist of great timing, and the good Lord's awesome lighting.

Sit back, relax, and shoot away. By the end of the day you'll have something to be proud of.

That something may be just the serenity of a day well spent, but it may also be a one of a kind prize winning photo.
