The right keyword

In the Latest searches I found someone had searched for

crowd curiously looking

When I clicked on this I found that this gave only three results and that too animated ones.

This set me thinking. Why are some pictures pulled up and why are some not.

For example, the picture on the right

which is on Level 5 and 417 dowloads fits the bill bit it was never pulled up because the words looking and curiously is not there.

Or better still the picture below

on Level 2 (with 7 downloads) is also a perfect example of crowd curiously looking , but unnfortunately the three key words crowd, curious/curiously and looking is not there.

So everything depends upon the keywords we put put in.

Our pictures may be excellent but it will never be showcased to someone who actually wants it, if the key words are not proper.

Some photographers (usually with big portfolios) want to sell their images with a specific concept, so they never mind what people might imagine!
One advise don't over react with concept keywording other wise it will turn it the opposite or flagged!

This really shows the importance of concept keywords vs. just keywording for the obvious items in the photo. It's all about using verbs and adverbs, not just nouns. Good post and great example, Joe.
