Uncertain about how best to upgrade camera

Hi,I've been shooting with a Canon EOS 400D since the model came out (6-7 years ago) and although I upgraded with lenses I am now finally going towards that already late body upgrade.I've been reading reviews of different models and I've narrowed it all down to either the Canon EOS 60D or the 7D.Now given that the current market price sets a 400 euro price difference between the two cameras I am highly uncertain whether it's actually worth it.So any 60D and 7D users care to partake... continue reading

Macro, cheaply

Wanted to share a couple of images which are now online that I shot using extension tubes.The first was fairly easy of inanimate objects.The one with the spider was a bit difficult given that it was fidgeting around its web and it was a bit windy as well that day. I tried to maintain a fair distance from the spider by using a 50mm lens instead of a 28mm one with the extension tube. Old is (sort of) gold... and cheap

I've been keen on photography for a while now. I started with a $2 pinhole camera, moved to a Dynax 3, crossed over to digital with the Panasonic FZ28, and finally settled for my first DSLR, straight to the Canon 60D.This was a massive jump alright.
