Hi FriendsI have just started my work with dreamstime. I am crazy for photography experience. Dreamstime helped myself becoming my dreams true.I took the first shot of a flower on a roadside greenbelt. That photo was accepted. After that i was so excited to make more pictures.I planned to go in a nearby housing scheme garden. I spent three hours there and took plenty of photos. Photos of flowers, sunset, lake, bridge etc. I took photos from different angles and different settings of... continue reading

I know it's a small achievement compared to a lot of others but for a relative beginner, it's another milestone reached and I'm pleased to have got there. It doesn't match the satisfaction of having the first photo accepted but is a lot better than the first photo rejected and it's probably a little below making the first sale but that's something for the future.Six months ago, when I submitted the first photos, I didn't really think about making it to 100 or... continue reading
I have just got my acceptance percentage up to 80% from a low of 57% the first month or two of uploading to Dreamstime. So for anyone new my tip would be check your images carefully for blemishes and noise as a starting point and be a little selective. Now if I have any doubts about the quality I don't upload it. I'll add a couple of images from my latest uploads. Happy snapping :) continue reading
I'm super excited to be part of the Dreamstime contributor team :) My first submission was accepted - 100% so far! (It was only 15 photos though.) I'm focusing mainly on my underwater and marine life photography at the moment. Here's one of my favorites from the group-- a grouper posing for the camera! continue reading
Some two months ago I noticed a rather slow rhythm in the work of our editors, I used to wonder if it was coz of an unusual high amount of submitted photos , some editors being on holidays (hopefully) or not feeling well (hopefully not) or both reasons together. During this last weeks however the acceptance of my pics has gone much faster than average: 48 or less hours. The pic I am presenting to you here is an example, it was uploaded on the 8th of December and on the 11th it was already here to... continue reading
One of the common refusal comments is "The image contains elements that might be protected by copyright/trademark (logos, brands, specific buildings etc.)... Read more: https://www.dreamstime.com/thread_148".I have my fair share of refusals with this comment. The original photo of the above image was rejected with the copyright / protected element comment. As you can see, it is a very simple photo of a yellow safety helmet sitting on a plastic barrier. Where's the copyright, trademark... continue reading
It is less than 2 month, almost 70% rejection but now 99 accepted images. Sometime some rejected with totally unrelated reasons, but I can understand that different reviewers has different mindset for acceptance. Now excited to celebrate New year and hopeful to see 100th acceptance on 01/01/2016.Happy new year to all of you and best wishes for good sale. Finally 100th here continue reading

Hello all,With the upload of my six new photos, my acceptance ratio has increased from 72.1% to 76.5%!I think my mistake last month (my first month at Dreamstime) was that I uploaded too many at once, meaning that only nineteen out of thirty one were actually accepted... This month I only uploaded ten and six were accepted but I definitely concentrated more on the titles, descriptions and keywords. Which is ultimately what matters because that is what the customer will be searching! I still... continue reading
I have been on Dreamstime for about 9 months now and have learned a lot about stock photography. I love being part of a photographic community and I am working toward becoming an exclusive contributor. This week my work achieved one of my highest goals to date (besides sales).I submitted 3 images for the home improvement assignment and all were refused. Close...but not interesting enough. Sigh. I marinated for a few days thinking I would NEVER get it right. (I submitted to the last assignment... continue reading
