600 photos milestone and 400+ sales!!

600 photos I am sure is small potatoes for some but for me it is an accomplishment - it is very difficult to get the time to get photos online, and honestly sometimes I am just too tired.   But I finally got to 600 photos online and feel good about it. I have been trying to do more conceptual work recently to add to my portfolio but will never give up good ole mother nature!I really enjoy the DT community here - what a great bunch of people and artist in one place!!This one below... continue reading

The learning curve has been long and hard......

I have finally just now had 2000 images accepted!!The learning curve has been long and hard (my acceptance percentage is coming out of the toilet a little dab) and I still have MUCH to learn. I TRY to have a diverse portfolio but I just can't seem to conquer the success of taking pictures of SOME things.....like....sunsets or flowers. I wish i could, because there are some people out there that take some really... continue reading

Love to reach a goal

I love it when I reach a goal...It at least makes me feel like I have accomplished something. One goal I set for myself was to have 400 images uploaded and accepted to Dreamstime, and to have at least 100 sales. well I did make it to the 400 mark this week, although I seem to be stuck on 70 in the sales department. however I am confident that number will change. As 2012 comes to a close, it makes me more aware that 2013 will be a good year to once again sit down and set goals. one, it gives me... continue reading

First level 2 Image!

Wow, it took me over a year, but I finally got a level 2 image! It's actually a pretty new one and is selling really well on all my sites. The best part is that 40 minutes after reaching level 2, it got downloaded again - it sure felt nice to receive $1.73 for a Small DL...
