As I experienced "on my own flesh" three weeks ago, you have to be very careful when charging your batteries with your charger and the electricity is produced with a generator. If the generator has a failure and the electricity goes off, unplug immediately your charger! As soon as the generator has been fixed and it´s motor again produces electricity the first impulse arrives with a high tension and may burn your charger, it happened to me on my last peruvian trip, I didn´t think about removing... continue reading
Part of my income stream comes from pet photography.I am sure I could make much more shooting weddings but I am not fond of Bridezillas.I get along much better with animals.When photographing dogs, owners want a picture of their pet that looks alert and responsive. When you put most dogs in a studio or in front of a camera; they become a bit nervous and look a bit un-natural.It takes a bit of time working with them but most will eventually calm and be more natural in front of the camera.... continue reading
Another well known microstock site, ........, was hit by an email phishing attack yesterday.http://www.techcrunch.com/2009/03/03/Always beware of emails from any online site that randomly appear, specifically asking you to log into your account. Many photographers and graphic designers have a good practice to backup their data regularly.
