First the good news - for the first time I have three photos accepted into the same assignment contest. They are all from my home town, Aarhus, and I am really proud that Aarhus is represented in the contest. Two of the pictures are even from my daily work place, Aarhus University, which is a modernist landmark with some fame in architectural circles - I am sure you can tell why from the pictures. First one taken on a spring morning, where you can really see how well the park and the buildings blend... continue reading

Albany, NY is one of the oldest cities in the United States and much of the architecture is very traditional, and sometimes even Gothic. But when you think of Albany, what comes to mind is the very futuristic and downright odd, Albany Egg. The Albany Egg is a performance space built as part of the ambitious Empire State Plaza, a concrete complex constructed between 1965 and 1976 that is mostly used for New York State government buildings. At one end of the mall is the New York State Museum.... continue reading

Hello, dear friends!Continuing my Swedish story I remember one of our fabulous mornings in hotel! It began with surprise. After breakfast we returned to the room to take things and go for a walk. Glancing out the window, we suddenly saw a rabbit (really huge rabbit or may be hare), who pinched the grass on the lawn right under our window. I literally felt myself like Alice in Wonderland at that moment. In the future, when it began to occur regularly we began to call our window - magic window,... continue reading
