I often make collages from my old photos. Sometimes i assemble giant patterns from hundreds of different images. Sometimes they are quite simple.Sometimes i return to my previous work and remake the old photos in a new way. As i've already said, it is quite a challenge to instantly define the right way to manipulate the photo for the best look. Only after a while it is possible to realize what should be done for the shoot to look perfect. continue reading
I think this is a good subject to blog about. Capturing a photo these days is very cheap, all it takes is to press the button and a new photo is born. Due to this ease and low cost, the amount of files just keeps piling up.Having your files safe and well organized is very important. Not being able to find a file in short time means not having it when you need it. You practically lost it even if it is there hiding in some directory. Here is what I do:I have a separate disk 1 TB connected... continue reading

It definitely took me much longer than most users here but I finally broke 200 uploads.I'm pretty happy with this achievement and it's definitely encouraging me to upload more. When I started with Dreamstime over 1 year ago, I was mainly looking through photos that I have photographed in the past and uploading them.It was a long and tedious task of filtering through thousands and thousands of photos. Many of which were not really microstock content. However it was enjoyable looking back at... continue reading
I was thinking one of this days in image archive.I have a huge number of files, in one trip with my camera, i know that i will have at least more 50 to 100 files to archive. The way i do is, create a new folder with the name of the place or event and put all my files in there. Then i will choose that photos that i think are good for stock and i work them in photoshop. When they are ok, i save them in one place i have that only had my stock work. In that file I create a new file with the date... continue reading
