This is arrived at from 4" finish size + 1/8"... continue reading

Hi folks,I am at last getting back to work now with my photography and learning more about Photoshop.I must say it has given this 'old girl' a new lease of life. The last couple of weeks I've been trying to extend my creativity with Abstracts and Backgrounds with digital artwork, and I'm finding it fun, because I never know how something is going to turn out, or whether it could be useable for stock work.As they say 'you never know until you've tried'.I thought I would show one them here... continue reading

It was a lot of time that I didn't sent an illustration for the assignment. But this time, when I read the theme "falling for autumn" it put in my mind the reminds of an old illustration I did some time ago.It was the preparation sketch for a big project about trees and fall season made by vector images for a USA ebook publisher. That image wasn't choosed but when the vectors were published I thought that this first pencil image was really better than the final digital result... and I'm happy... continue reading
The Spiral Jetty is a work of art that built in the Great Salt Lake in 1970 by the artist Robert Smithson. The Spiral Jetty is 1,500 long and known as an earthwork. This artwork is a remote part of the lake and travel is an adventure into the wild west.I have traveled there twice to the site to photograph this fantastic art piece.I first became interested in the artwork during an art history class, which I wrote a paper for and have been enthralled with this earthwork ever since.I hope... continue reading

Look through the winners archives and take note of how few illustrators are chosen. (Almost none at all.)ASSIGNMENT ARCHIVESWhy bother asking for art submissions, if DT won't pick any illustrations as winners?I want to see artists being treated equally. Perhaps DT could revise it's rules to include at least 1 illustrator as a winner per assignment. That would be fair. continue reading
Hello to everyone! As you can see in my portfolio, now I have 219 illustrations in Dreamstime.Obviously I'll show you the pictures.I am very happy because I see that the images are approved with constancy and this encourages me to continue, although the downloads are still few.I admit that my portfolio has some problems: the images had few tags and some image must be "adjusted" to make it more attractive to designers. These are works I'm doing and I'll continue to do in the next days,... continue reading
