Athena's Story

Athena is an Eurasian Eagle Owl that lives at the San Francisco Zoo.She was smuggled into the United States as an Easter Egg in an Easter Basket along with 14 other eggs from Austria so the eggs could past through San Francisco International Airports Customs a little over 3 years ago.Only 3 of the 15 eggs survived do to lack of not incubating the eggs properly during the flight from Austria to the US.The 3 eggs hatched at the smugglers house but the owls had been seized during a sting operation... continue reading

In between my two yoga classes this morning I went to Annie's for a cup of her magical Oolong tea. While I was there she gave me an impromptu intro to calligraphy.
