The sun sets or the sun shines ... usually best moments for photography in nature where mid tones show the most. No harsh shadows and no over strong highlights. The colourful sky is one of the most fascinating scenes to take a picture of. Quite often people start to shoot too early, resulting in a very dominating orange ball called the sun. I prefer to start when the sun is almost disappearing behind the horizon. Then the sky and the sun are in balance and the clouds in the sky get an orange backlight. Backlight is a very powerful tool in the art of photography. It often happens that just a simple flash settled from the right angle can show much more than a whole pack of monoblocks.I don't understand how is it possible to live away from the sea. As for me, it's like living in a house without wondows. Unfortunately it is possible to take pictures on the Baltic sea shores only a few weeks in a year. CCTV(China Central Television) Tower is the highest building in Beijing.it was built in 1993.I took this picture in backlight. So we can see a light line, which is the shadow of the tower tip. It cannot be seen in any angle else. continue reading
