Sometimes bad weather is not so bad

The popular belief is that you can only take good photos on sunny days, but a day with storm clouds can give a dramatic and expressive atmosphere to a place that on sunny days is not so attractive to photograph,To take the picture of the first image, I simply measured the exposure in the clear area of the sky, that way everything else in the picture is dark, accentuating the silhouette of the city that is not important to detail in the composition and giving more Importance to bad weather clouds... continue reading

If you're having a bad day, let's enjoy animal life

Sometimes we can see that animals in the wild are mostly like us and we can laugh at ourselves watching their behavior. A day can make a difference

some days it doesn't pay to get out of bed. yesterday was such a day! I should have known when I woke to go to my job at 6 30 and discovered major snow in Michigan falling at a brisk pace. 5 inches covered the ground already, but I made it to work and was there 2 hours watching the white stuff fall... only to have the electricity go out in the area.so since my bosses could not get any work done, I was sent home from job one.3 hours later, I am off to job two, however now we have 14 inches of snow!... continue reading

Environmental Africa - The Good and The Bad

I recently visited Nigeria - a rarely trodden part of the world (with the fear of kidnapping and a desperate shortage of infrastructure amongst only a few of the obstacles laid to bare). Whilst in an extremely remote part of the country - where some independent rain forest conservation effort is taking place in an attempt to salvage what historically was one of the most biodiverse environments on the planet - I came across a small number of monkeys. These Eyes were opportunistically captured around... continue reading

"Bad" weather photography

The weather is bad. On the day that you planned to take some nature images outside. Why “bad” weather should keep you away from photographing some nature? Even in rainy or misty weather you can take good shots. Clients are not only looking for sunny images. So go out and try to capture the world in unregular scenes. Take some images of the forest when there is mist. It will create a mystic atmosphere.
