Beside photography, my main hobby is mountaneering and climbing. If you have a hobby or a sport too, you should think about it as an opportunity to photograph while you do it what you love. Of course when you climb mountains, the main goal is to summit…but sometimes you just can’t. Because of the weather, because you injured, or like this time: because you are ill. Yes, I started early on Friday with a massive cold, I have headache, runny nose, sorethroat…and 700 km to drive through Austria... continue reading

Your digital footprint, when it comes to business, is everything that is online... continue reading
Twice a day, Monday through Friday, I make a 32-mile journey to and from my job at the Walton County Animal Control shelter in Monroe Georgia. My path takes me on country backroads through tiny towns like High Shoals, Good Hope and Watkinsville. Each and every trip, my camera rides shotgun in the front seat next to me. You never know what you’ll see on those routine rides. So much of my “wildlife photography” is shot on those boring rides to and from work. One day it might be an armadillo ambling... continue reading
When it comes to creating digital concepts, many people think you need to be a graphic designer who is highly skilled with Adobe Illustrator and similar software packages. Illustrator is good for creating logos and text graphics, but you can actually use your camera and photography to create digital art, backgrounds, banners, and more!"Design" is a high level term for which there are subcategories where you can use photography to create digital art and abstract backgrounds. Texture and patterns... continue reading
I have a confession to make. i'm a symmetry addict. If you happen to live in a large city, like most people, it can be chaotic. Finding symmetry, at least to me, gives me a sense of peace...or at the very least a temporary feeling of equilibrium. Naturally, I try to incorporate this in my style of photography whenever I can and some turn out to be best-sellers.It's no wonder that buyers also find symmetric images appealing. Here's a few examples of my top 5 favourite... continue reading

This often involves driving family members to sports practices, music lessons, appointments or other events when they need a ride and say "can you please pick me up in an hour".So, what to do with the hour? I could surf the net on my phone, go for coffee, or drive home and do a chore for 15 minutes and then drive back. Or?I decided to be a micro-explorer.With camera in tow, I decided to explore the... continue reading
I don’t have many downloads to make a serious statistics, but so far my best images are the unique ones. I started with painting. My paintings are pure exploration of world of colors and shapes, exploration of my inner world, my emotions and sensations. They all are the abstract paintings. But I wasn't satisfied. Somehow, I felt it wasn't showing what I wanted to express. So I experimented with my camera. I stared to make macro shots of specific parts of paintings and one painting could... continue reading
Did you know that September 5th is (was?) “National Be Late for Something Day”?As a person who is impossibly early in a fashionably late-running world, I thought I would embrace the holiday to see if I could find the advantage that the rest of the populated planet seems to have found but that I just haven’t yet uncovered. So, here it goes. After a day of exhaustive research, I can attest that the benefits to being late are …………Who am I kidding?I just can’t do it.... continue reading
