I grew up with art and photography around me and the joy they brought to me I wanted to share continue reading

Finally after years of designing for other companies I have made the leap into photography for myself. I am extremely nervous and excited at the same time. Fear of the unknown is what has me most afraid. Nobody wants to fail, but I know that with failure comes knowledge. However, I can't say that I am looking forward to failure but when it happens I will embrace it and not turn away.I am usually one of those people that jumps into a pool instead of a slow toe test and gradual transition.... continue reading
As someone who is just taking my first tentative steps into the world of stock images, I am of course wondering what sort of images are most likely to be accepted.I would really prefer to not waste my time on images that really have no chance of being accepted due to the choice of subject. So what sort of images do appeal to micro-stock sites like dreamstime.com?I started out by looking at the FAQ section of the site, but didn't find the explanation offered there particularly helpful at first.... continue reading
This is the first assignment I'm participating in and two of my images were approved. The contest allowed many interpretations on the subject, so I did my best to approach the task with as much creativity as possible. If you like them, please vote :)Good luck to all participants ! continue reading

I read on the net you can be paid for your pics, this was like a wow! for meI stared to upload in a lot of pages, and getting a lot lot of rejections, frustrations and impotence :(When I take a look back, my first photos, I find them very bad!! 2 years ago I didn't understand WHY my pics were rejected.I've been learning during the time, retouch... continue reading
