I’m going through a strong street photography phase, which makes for a nice change from the recent architecture and illustrative editorials. I quite enjoy street photography, probably because it’s a bit of an adrenaline shot and unpredictable.I’m still in Rio, with lots going on. I’m flowing with different ideas to turn my stock photos into cash, and having some fun.The Girl from IpanemaI was walking along the promenade of Ipanema, enjoying a coconut as one would while there, when I noticed... continue reading

Hello, Friends.Paraty is located in the south of the state of rio de janeiro.A little of the history of Brazil crosses this city. This city around 1880 was part of the outflow of gold brought from Minas Gerais and taken to Portugal. The architecture of Paraty designed by the Masons shows the beauty of the city with its cobblestone streets and traditional festivities such as the International Literary Fair of Paraty, the feast of Saint Benedict and Our Lady of Rosario, among others.... continue reading

Are you enemies?!At the same time I don't understand those "... continue reading
I was returning to my hotel on the last night of a recent trip to Brasilia, Brazil's capital. I had been banking on using this night to go and shoot however it was raining hard. That morning I'd told the taxi driver that I wanted to shoot a couple of places so he was still keen. I did not have a rain coat or umbrella so at best it was not going to be wet. I told the driver that I wouldn't bother. Then when we got near the hotel I thought stuff it, may as well. I gathered my gear... continue reading
I typically work weekends from the hotel when away on work trips - it gets me home faster and it means I don't drag colleagues into the office over their weekend too. This past trip was to Brasilia, the capital of Brazil. I was fortunate to be taken on a road trip by my host to the old historical Portuguese gold town Pirenopolis. It is about a two hours drive from Brasilia through rolling agricultural land and in itself is a worthwhile drive. When we arrived the most striking thing about the town... continue reading
I took the opportunity while in Brasilia on business to photograph some of the goings-on of the Independence Day celebrations.
