Dreamstime iPhone app

Do you use it?From time to time I do. I can say, it's pretty good! But unfortunately it has several annoying bugs:1. If you have a call when attributing a photo and then you are back to proceed keywording you will find the photo submitted. And you can't change it then: cancel and resubmit only.    2. You can't pause your submission process (not a bug but a minus).     I would like to have lunch first, then finish the submission process.3. You can't change the attributes of... continue reading

A bug in the process... (finished...)

In my previous post I have mentioned an old house which we - me and my wife - have bought last year, hoping to renovate it into our dream home... Yes - plenty of work for already overloaded couple, but this kind of challenges are somehow extremely satisfying and even thou you lack sleep and your hands are aching from tools, you undertake next challenge just to feel like God, when you sip your well-deserved beer while looking at finished results of your own work...And another of such projects... continue reading

My artificial island made for insect macro shoots

Exotic Insects

Having moved to Malaysia a few months ago I now have access to a wealth of fantastic and exotic insects.I have created a Facebook page called Exotic Insects so that others can enjoy the remarkable bugs that we share the planet with. Some of those photos will shortly appear in my portfolio. Most of the insects I photograph thrive in the Cameron Highlands, which rise to an altitude of about 3,000 feet. The jungle is cooler and more lush there due to the heavy rains.I try to visit the Highlands... continue reading

Extreme Macro

Hello, i haven't posted for a while and i wanted to share with you my new photos made with a reversed 55mm lens on extension tubes. I will try to go even closer with a reversed 28mm lens, as you know as the focal distance goes wider the reversed lens zooms even more, so at this focal range i should have about 4X magnification. Will post again with the new results, in the meantime i hope you like my photos, and advice is welcome. continue reading
