After 10 months with my first digital camera Lumix FZ200 I've reached the point where i am not satisfy with it's technical capabilities anymore. Any photos above ISO 200 contain a lot of noise which is limiting me to a tripod or good light conditions :) Before joining DT i had no experience with photography at all i knew that to make a picture i need to click on the button on top of camera, all the ISO and depth of field and all the rest of theory was a total unknown to me. Now i have nearly 700 files... continue reading

Hi Girls and Guys, here I go direct to the point, but first I want to mention that most of you had heard that you should buy an entry camera and then buying new stuffs according to need you feel necessary. FORGET IT!I had spend some years with entry cameras and I had lose a lot of photos because of many issues, but mostly because of 2 things:- BAD FOCUS- NOISEThose both things could be solved if I had propper gear.I had buy prime lenses 70-200mm f2.8 and 24-70 f2.8, but I still... continue reading
Hi everyone, in this very short but useful tutorial, you can see how many shots you have made with your camera. Let's start: Open Photoshop and load the last image you shot or still one of the latest. Now go to File> infofile. From the menu"Description" you have to go with the small arrow on the top right, the "Advanced" menu and select the last submenu "Scheme". Open it and you will find "aux: Image number", what will be your total shots that has realized your camera.I hope that the translation... continue reading
I was away from photography for the past two years, working on my other career. However, I recently realized how much I missed photography -- and I'm back. Last month, in February 2015, I purchased a new camera (Canon 70D, a huge upgrade from my Panasonic Lumix with only 10 megapixels), and new photos are on the way. I still have the same model, plus a new one, and with the lens I am using, I am working primarily with portraits, landscapes and health concepts. I look forward to eventually cash out... continue reading
It is easier than ever to take photographs these days so photographers are very luck that they earn much more than even the top professional footballers.A footballer in the UK is lucky if he can earn £3000,000 a week which works out at just £1,785 an hour. Most photographers would not want to get out of bed for that!Below are some examples of photos that have made the footballers look a little hard done by.I have had 2 sales of this photo at 42 cents each, which is 84 cents or £0.56... continue reading
The camera lens and the human eye are two amazing entities. For me to be able to see the world through the "eye" of a camera has unimaginable significance.Five years ago I was diagnosed with a rare degenerative eye disease; macular telangiectasia. It was devastatingnews but I refused to let it stop me from living my life to its fullest. I joined a research group from the most prestigiouseye institute in the USA, I volunteered to receive thelatest and greatest investigationaltreatments... continue reading
When Monty, the Dane and Nikko....the ..umm...well, when they first got together Monty really did not know what to think of her...He almost looked at her like a little rat..She had no fear of him as she would constantly try to bite on his lips..his tail..his nose..he always tried to stay a safe distance from her ( even tho now they are the best of friends) ..but he always had at least one eye on her...which sometimes made for comical pictures.. continue reading
