Years ago my parents and I were camping at Temperance River State Park along the north shore of Lake Superior. Dad and I went for a walk down to the shore to check out the lake from our campsite. My June weekend at the North Rim was a chance to visit the annual Star Party which is held during the new moon. Amateur astronomers with awesome 'scopes share the views of Saturn, Jupiter and Mars with all the visitors and educate you as well. We did it we finally bought a motor home. It is an older one but is 33 feet long. Our plans are to start traveling the country, and of courseLOTS of photography. Wanting a bit of break from the city we decided to head down for a weekend of camping at Gillards Beach in Tathra, NSW Mimosa Rocks National Park.This park features a rugged and scenic coastline with many beaches enjoyed by surfers, fishers, snorkelers, birdwatchers and sightseers.
