Vienna was chosen 2017 as the most liveable city - for the 8th year in a row. For those, who wonder why, in my humble opinion, parks are a major factor. Vienna has many and big parks, for every season. Let me show you some:This is Volksgarten with the Burgtheater (National Theater) in the background. Very popular among the tourists and locals, because of the closeness to the city center - Burgtheater, Rathaus, the Burg are all very close, in early summer the smell of roses.. The park... continue reading

I have just passed the 800 images online milestone! I have enjoyed taking photo's over the last 11 months I've actively been uploading to Dreamstime and trying to improve my abilities whilst trying to add some inventiveness to some images. If you look through other site members portfolio's there are some fantastic photographs and also great inventiveness with illustrations etc.Taking photographs is enjoyable, disappointing when an image is technically not great but worth the time when an image... continue reading
As a science fiction fan since I was a little kid - the most impressive moment for me in a story was always the moment we come across with bits and pieces of evidence that there was once a great civilization there. Gigantic city ruins on the horizon of a distant planet is an idea that gives me the chills every time I think about it. Beholding the signs of an unknown civilization is exciting and inspiring. Desert with its majestic vastness reminds me the ocean and space - and... continue reading
The popular belief is that you can only take good photos on sunny days, but a day with storm clouds can give a dramatic and expressive atmosphere to a place that on sunny days is not so attractive to photograph,To take the picture of the first image, I simply measured the exposure in the clear area of the sky, that way everything else in the picture is dark, accentuating the silhouette of the city that is not important to detail in the composition and giving more Importance to bad weather clouds... continue reading
Among the many fortified towns of Catalonia, Montfalco Enmurallat is one of the best conserved and spectacular ones, it is a walled town and castel with first historic references from the eleventh century and with no buildings beyond the walls. It is located in the comarca of Lleida and surrounded by vast fields with a predominance of wheat production.A very recomendable restaurant in the same center of the town allows the visitor to enjoy a memorable day submerging himself in the historic and... continue reading
A week ago I decided to get some images of the fountains at the Plaça de Catalunya the most popular square of the capital of Catalonia my tiny country which is on it´s way struggling for independence. As it was raining but still a rather bright day I tried my new neutral density filter to get long exposure images, the results were not bad but later on during the evening, when the fountains were illuminated in purple colors, I went back to try my luck again. I found the night-view photos much more... continue reading
I’ve been living in Lahore since past 5 years now. A great place to live and for photography. It has many historical places like Lahore Fort (Shahi Qilla), Badshahi Mosque, Shalimar Gardens, Wazir Khan Mosque, etc. I have photographed most of the places but still there are many more to visit. I think Lahore has more historical places than any other city in Pakistan. Minar E Pakistan picture is the most popular one in my portfolio which got 7 sales. You can see some of my shots below. ... continue reading
The last couple of years i got hooked on shooting during (early) nighttime hours. The long exposures make you really work your images, composition and exposure has to be exactly right.Right after sunset you have the nice blue and orange colors in the sky. Then when the sky goes black and the lights are on at buildings and bridges this produces amazing end very color-rich night shots.Recently i was able to visite some of the big cities in Australia, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne and it was... continue reading
