So many landscapes that have special view in this season. The shadows and the sun position! At the time the day started to be shorter the sun path even the day time started to be not so high by the zenith, but down, closer to the horizon and that is where the shadows come - almost every time in a day, that is great isn't it?Though I'm not completely... continue reading

Red flowers on the tree

I shot these beautiful bright bunch of red flowers in one of trips to South India, to a tiny little known hill station called as Yelagiri.I found these flowers quite attractive because of bright colors at the back drop of clear blue sky, but I tried to keep emphasis on the red flowers in thd image, so cropped it down to as it is available.I would be glad to have valueable opinions on this image , dear fellow Dreamstime photogrpahers. Thanks & regards,Subhrajyoti,India. continue reading

My friend after seeing my portfolio in DT asked me: "Are you a moody photographer?"First of all I had no idea what she meant. Then... continue reading

Tips for Photographing the Sunrise

There really isn't much to photographing sunrises, yet I wonder if people have realized all the dynamics involved. I am constantly reminded from one situation where I was out doing sunrise photography in a popular location. I arrived BEFORE the sun came up and had been there for a while. Before the sun peaked above the horizon, two women came by with their cameras and asked me how the photography was. They gave me a funny look when I told them they were too late; as far as they were concerned, the... continue reading
