Color, concepts and creativity

I have just passed my first milestone of having 50 photos accepted by Dreamstime and it has been an interesting journey. If you look at my portfolio of online photos you will see a great deal of variety reflecting my varying interests. But they do all have three things in common - they reflect my love for color (which I really want to spell with a 'u' being an Aussie), concepts and creativity. The color is everywhere - just look at the pic of tulips above or this photo of the tranquil blue waters... continue reading

Approaching this year Ramadan... concepts...

I'm not a Muslim, but I felt involved in Ramadan concept once "known its sense"... and that's why I want to spend a few words about this spiritual period of year, respecting it and opening others' eyes on it. In this overpopulated world, where integration is the basis to fit all cultures together, where war for a God is unfortunately a reality to denigrate, Ramadan practice offers a way to our spirits to be better, to become better persons... Let's think about it: Ramadan is the... continue reading

Finding inspiration

I don't know if it's just me , but I find that finding inspiration to develop new concepts for photographing is sometimes an uneasy task. For me it's mainly because I worry about making a fool of myself by developing new concepts, or disappointing those who approve of my current concepts. But I find that there are certain concepts of mine that I have been recently practicing which I see them as in a beta version, or a rookie style becauseI have no idea how people will respond to these new concepts.... continue reading

It rather comes naturally in to my mind when i see it or at the post production stage when i can focus, look and think about particular shot :)I was simply playing with a plastic bottle and a candle and this idea came in to my mind :) self expressing image i think. Here I saw destructive power of machine against the nature so i called it total destruction...... continue reading

Time change Concepts

Figure stamped in the collective imagination, the skull loses some of its side "dark" and gains in sympathy as a symbol of what is modern (though debatable).Since the designers Alexander McQueen and Alexander Herchcovitch adopted in the fashion world - and it makes a good time - the icon has been recurring as aesthetic element - to shock, amuse, almost never to scare. In decorating shows, in an environment or another, the skulls also give the guys in general discrete, sometimes more overt,... continue reading
