In life we tend to aim for something and by that we focus too much ... sometimes too much just doesn't work ... rather, take advantage over your conceptions, camera limitations and overall hesitation ... :)Let's try that.- learn to see; you're moving by and you witness a lovely view ... isolate what you see from how you feel, try seeing the moment through a frame without any secondary distractions; not that those elements look ugly, they just add filters of confusion to what... continue reading

Ryan Schultz |Fly Goggles |December 7th, 2017Adventuring into the Ecommerce world was a very unique experience for me. The idea of being enabled to work and profit ANYWHEREyou had cell phone service still astonishes me to this day! Especially knowing how short of a time period we've have cell phones in our hands, let alone SMART phones.I decided to dip my feet into the water with a simplistic Aliexpress --> Shopify Dropshipping store, split testing... continue reading

Micro content, this phrase that has been around so much in the past few years but nobody seems to be able to put the finger on what it actually means. Let’s give it a try too. This type of content was firstly used in a UX context, in order to describe a longer piece of content and add clarity to an interface or encourage a desired behavior, as Jakob Nielsen says.Dr. Mike Baxter describes micro content as being “the content that persuades and enables prospects to complete a transaction,... continue reading
Since the dawn of human civilization, visual representations were the first choice when people needed to narrate stories, show emotions and depict facts. There are several ancient caves that prove to us, that visual imagery was probably the first form of non-verbal communication among early representatives of our kind.Push the fast forward button and get thousands of years into the future only to realize the same things: visual representation of facts and emotions is still the number... continue reading
Why Your Content Calendar & Stock Image Portfolio Are Missing Outaka “Marketing for Obscure Holidays, Part 2”When the movie, Independence Day was released back in 1996 on the 2nd of July 2 (the same day the action in the film started), we all knew that the release date was in anticipation of the American Independence Day, the 4th of July, and that the title would probably have something to do with humanity’s independence from the threat of aliens, as a tie-in. First of all, happy Mardi Gras! Second of all, it’s also the last day of February this year. February is the shortest month, with only 28 days even though other months have 31 days. I guess this is a good thing because it’s usually so cold. While only yesterday I could have said, “Six more weeks of winter?! Yeah, right! It’s officially the warmest February on record,” this weekend, they’re calling for snow. Given, this coming weekend is technically March, but it still begs... continue reading

I love editorial content. It truly has changed how I photograph things. It has also enriched my life in tremendous ways.I have traveled so many places, just to photograph the architecture or the events going on. I have visited so many historic attractions, working on photo essays and then submitting to magazines with travel articles to chronicle my experience there.I love that editorial is a totally different type of image and I love that the canon captures a precious moment in time.Stock... continue reading
Some months ago I got accepted an image, which was marked with the content filter. This of course I found out later on, when I was wondering, why the image has 0 views and it is not showing in my portfolio. It was not showing, because I had by a default set Content Filter ON.Being a newbie to Dreamstime, it took me a while to find out, that reason for image not showing is done by the Content Filter. So I changed my site features and turned the Content Filter OFF. For me, I want to have a choice... continue reading
