A few weeks ago I suggested a co-worker to join DT.We both share a passion for photography and we often talk about it during our lunch breaks, I explained how it was fun to have people purchase picture that I had taken and see them used as visualization and complementing news, text or documents. Today I was pleased to see that she got her first set of approved images. Please join me in welcoming user Kathmir to the DT family. Wishing her many years of great success. continue reading

I signed up for Dreamstime in 2007 and have since been determined to make stock photography a substantial part of my income.Since joining, however, things have not gone according to plan.I quit a full time job with good income and great benefits to pursue photography as a full time income. Now, of course I'm not referring to stock photography here.I have built my business on weddings, portraits, and commercial work and have had great success so far in my short career.I have some great commercial... continue reading

So I log into Dreamstime today and am about to drill down into the site when I notice the "Featured Contributor" space had an image similar to one of mine. I click on it and sure enough, it was one of my images! Then I notice the name of the contributor is the same as mine. I click into his portfolio and there are all my images! This guy has stolen all my images and my nickname to boot!I've sent an email to Support asking how this could happen because there is no way I could ever be the Featured... continue reading
Hi everyone,Just a little message to say that yesterday, I have been accepted in the Dreamstime's exclusive contributors group. Yes! After reading many positive comments by exclusive contributors, and after accepting the fact that I just don't have enough time to submit to many stock sites, I patiently waited to have 50 pictures in my portfolio. Then I applied for the DT ''elite'' group and after almost 2 weeks, I've been accepted. I have to say that it almost feels as good as making the first... continue reading
Yesterday I had to cut my nails very short... as I am nervously biting them last days... The reason is simple - I am 17 cents short to pick my first payout on DT.The balance stopped moving two weeks ago and refuses to rise - and nothing helps - I already started to talk to that number - asking it to go up, commanding, begging, hypnotizing and using psi-forces to push it beyond payout limit... but with no success...It really can drive one crazy, when reward is within reach of hand and yet... continue reading
