Hello dear friends! During the first trip to India Vrndavana and the Sacred Hill Govardhana took many pictures of the local life! It is a great pleasure for me that for the first time, one of my images has been selected in assignment! This is a photograph of white whiskered terns flying, with black common coots swimming in the background. The photograph was captured at Randarda Lake in Rajkot, India... Personally, I love to capture birds and animals. I also love to observe them with humanized emotions. (I will gather my such images in one more blog article). In the above photograph, there are two poles... continue reading
I haven't uploaded a lot since last time I wrote a blog article 2015, but I had a nice surprise having 6 photos accepted for "Crowds" assignment. Last time I sent photos for an assignment, all 10 were refused. After that, I uploaded them normally and they were accepted, so it is possible they were good, but not excellent. I love music festivals; people, music, fun. I took my small A200 with a very compact 50mm prime lens and went out shooting in the crowd. I saw some pro photographers, with huge cameras and huge lenses hanging around with a press pass where I could not get access, so I tried to take some "different" shots and, more, enjoy the music and the people. I think it worked! This shot made its way to the news section of DT. It was actually taken with a 16-80 zoom: changing lens in the middle of a crowd is..... continue reading
