Hello friends, today I come back with a new article about landscape photography.Landscape photography has become one of the most popular types of photography among beginners. The main elements that will give birth to a nice photo are symmetry, repetition, contrast, asymmetry, coherence, symbolism and a drop of irony. They are also called the components of a balance. The simplest type of photography but also the most complicated is landscape photography.Tips for Landscape Photography:1.DSLR camera and... continue reading

When I saw these gulls sat along the cross bar I thought it was a vaguely interesting image. It wasn't until i enlarged the image and scanned along the row of gulls, who at first glance were just perched there, that the image got more interesting. Each Gull doing its own thing and I have no idea exactly what the Gull on the left hand end is doing! Sometimes the devil can be in the detail. continue reading
I have reached my first 10 sales and I´m so so happy about it. But I would like to say one thing. Sometimes we are playing off photographers and forget that our art is not exatly "our". Don´t get me wrong :) Most of all I prefer the nature photo. What nature can conjure up is more than wonderful. In this moment is important only to focus on the right detail of the huge colorful spectrum. I love the details which is unavailable for people without a gift - "stop for a while, calm yourself... continue reading
Ever since I can remember I've been fascinated by images and creating them myself. It has been an on-again off-again relationship however. To be fully present to a moment there have been times when the camera felt like it demanded an attention that took me out of the 'picture' so to speak.Recently I've shifted away from taking the great panoramic images that tried to take in the whole and have found instead the 'close-up'. Getting up to a small common flower blooming in a field and capturing it'... continue reading
Because of my fathers health problems this month, I wasn't able to reach my goals this month of getting 150 photos online this month. But family comes before everything else off course. Now he's on the better hand, I'm uploading several photos from my holiday in Germany.I went to the Moselle area for a few days during the WRC event. So obviously I took a lot of photo's of views and details of the vineyards and grapes. The first batch is getting accepted now.So take a look and off course,... continue reading
Hi,I'd like to share with You a short tale about my first two stock phtotos. Unfortunately still without sale. First one is macro - very nice vintage metal flower, which is an element of an old rusty gateway between the old Warsaw church the name Św. Katarzyny and it's offices. Very nice old church, where I was babtised :) This photo is one ofthe whole session, I have done some time ago. I hope You'll find it interesting. The second and very sentimental for me, is a phtotography... continue reading
I would like to show you three of my backgrounds which I really love. Maybe just because all of them are simple. And of course because I just bought new camera and I want to learn what all I could do with that. :)First one was really hard to take, because I had Olympus OM-D with basic objective 12 - 50mm. Same objective for second and third one is with same, but more expensive objective. You know, I´m beginer, but I´m happy I can upload my pictures here and I hope, one day I will take better... continue reading
In the absence of much time to develop my shooting style of late I have been conscientiously trying to not make basic mistakes!Basic things that I have been trying NOT to do include:Arriving somewhere with no battery (now check the battery indicator before heading out)A full CF card (no a preview and check available shots before heading out)Fumbling around looking for my lens cap (always put it in my left front pocket)Forgetting to pack my tripod head or entire tripod (general awareness)... continue reading
Tax time is rapidly approaching, so make sure to pay attention to details, dot your i's and cross your t's so to speak so the auditors don't come a knocking. This year we get until April 18th because of observance of a D.C. Holiday. continue reading
I'm often finding myself looking up at ceilings, developing a cricked neck! I think for the amount of attention to detail that goes into the construction of ceilings, and any surface for that matter, it is a shame we don't spend more time admiring them. Below is a collection of some that I've taken about the place that I thought is worth sharing.I found myself laying in the middle of the floor in the Salt Lake City Capitol building recently, positioning my camera to get the chandelier in the center... continue reading
