When you’re a photographer — or any kind of artist, really — there is an easy trap to fall into, one in which you begin to lead this double sort of life. One portion of your life, usually the larger portion, is devoted to the day to days. This is the time you spend at work, the time you spend with your family, time spent shopping and doing chores, essentially all the things that you need to do to survive healthily and happily. And then there is that other life, the almost secret life, your art... continue reading

I am still very happy every time someone purchase an image from my portofolio.Last sales: Thank you, DT! continue reading
While to a lot of contributors on here, 10 photographs is nothing but a days work, to me its a big triumph. It shows that I've got something to be proud of, but also that I can definitely improve. The acceptances are becoming more frequent with the new camera upgrade (from a simple, yet effective, point and shoot; to my first DSLR), and I'm absolutely just ruing the fact that I didn't have this camera with me in all my previous travels. Thankfully I have one more year living in Europe and I'm bringing... continue reading
Hello everyone, my last blog was at 150 uploads, now I've double it...Yeah!!!But, I do need some advises because my images have good number of views but very low sale! Can anybody give me some advise what to change or what to do? I know my images are not always people and objects on white background, but I haven't even sold any of them on DT, the sold ones are totally something different. That is what is confusing for me. Is this normal for beginners or not? Thanks in advance everyone for... continue reading
Or can I say triple milestones. Yes, three milestones.First, I am celebrating my one year of registering on DT as a contributor. On the 22nd of March 2013, I registered as a contributor on Dreamstime. Since then, I have beinguploading to Dreamstime which led to the second milestone of two hundred photos in my portfolio.Achieving this 200 photos, I had to apply all the skills I learnt here from a family of fellow photographers that are too willing to render constructive criticism. At first,... continue reading

Recently I had my 1,000th image online after less than 18 months since I’ve registered with Dreamstime. A very nice milestone to reach and to celebrate especially when comes together with the 1,000th sale (after less than 24h - nice coincidence, isn't it?!); 1,000 of great moments of ‘acceptance’, growth, motivation and why not some extra-bucks in my account. Now more than ever I know that the journey with Dreamstime will be a long and prolific one. Thanks Dreamstime – admins, buyers,... continue reading
