You may have heard of the social media sensation @FuckJerry, or perhaps not. I hadn't until I had just read a Forbes magazine interview with the man behind the FuckJerry handle, Elliot Tebele. He seemed like just another guy who is making some waves across well known social media platforms.I was intrigued, and so searched for him on a well known picture sharing site. His account was instantly recognizable, especially since it now has a "verified" tick on it. I scrolled down the posts, mostly... continue reading

Hi Dreamstimers! Some years ago (03/02/2010) I uploaded my first pictures here on Dreamstime. I didn’t know what to expect.Days have passed – NO SALE, months have passed – still NO SALE. Shall I give up? Shall I upload more photos? Does this all make sense? Then, 6 months later, on 03/08/2010 my first sale! Juppi. I was so excited! I just earned 0,30$ with this picture, my first sold picture. Ok, so I will continue. I uploaded more. More sales came. My earnings balance looked better... continue reading
Hi everyone!I'm quite new on Dreamstime. Even though I registered in 2013, after a friend's recommendation, I forgot about the site (my bad...) until 2016 and I started to upload pictures only a month ago. So far I already got 250 pictures submitted and still have many new to upload (I just came back from a wonderful trip to Thailand and Cambodia, where I took more than 1000 pictures). So far I haven't made any sales yet, and I've noticed that my pictures barely get some views, even when I... continue reading
Every month Dreamstime offers contributors a chance to contribute images to the "on assignment" competition. Contributors can opt to make accepted images Level 5 right off the bat. Every month I think to myself that I'll give it a whirl, but never actually get round to it. Well, this month, the assignment was for images of Landmarks of Underrated Towns. Given that I live in the beautiful county of Cornwall in the UK, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to submit something this time round. Cornwall... continue reading
The first sale is something that every new photographer on this site is eagerly waiting for. And at some point, after more or less work and patience, it comes. Sometimes it comes just when the hope of ever selling something is almost lost. Excitement and extreme joy is what we feel first. And also gratitude to the buyer and much more trust in the site that made this sale possible.I've post this blog because I felt the need to express my gratitude to both the buyer and the site.... continue reading
After almost two years i've reached at 2000 photos in my portfolio. Wasn't easy but i've learned to make better photos and improve post-processing. With an 81.8% acceptance ratio i've been frustratedsometimes because of "Image not selected" :) but i realized that is good for my work.Photo number 2000: And few days ago I've reached another milestone: one hundred real sales for one photo. It's my 3'rd place winner photo at an assignment and my mostdownloaded work: Thank you Dreamstime,... continue reading
Also my first blog post so there's another milestone! I'm really pleased to have reached my 50th sale, I was close to getting there with only 200 files online which would have been a great achievement in terms of sales/uploads but I'm still very happy, also with the new content I've been uploading in that time between 40-50 sales. Here are my top three sellers accounting for a third of my sales so far (despite not being technically my best).#1 Thrilled to see this image used online by a UK Newspaper... continue reading
