In six Years I made sales just over 200. Do you think It is low? Well, maybe It is a great success who knows. I uploaded over 1100 photos to Dreamstime and waited for sales. Waited with patience. It is usually said, it is normal that contributor may not see increase in sales that quick. Contributor needs to be patient. Contributor needs to upload more to achieve. My sales are zero from 08/05/2011.I had 2 sales from the start of the month: 1 sub and 1 credit.With 202 photos online you will think that sales are becoming steady but in fact i guess my photos are useless for stock.The bad thing is that i don't know what to do next.Im run out of ideas.Any advices? continue reading

Droplets

Shooting droplets is fun and exciting..Shoot either a static water drop or a drop in motion....All that is needed is liquid ( water, milk etc.), preferably a macro lens on manual focus, a tripod and a cable release and a trigger happy finger to call in the shots.Shallow DOF and the reflection from the water drop can defeat a photograph, no matter how beautiful it would be otherwise. continue reading

Almost back to 50%

After many months of learning the hard way, my acceptance ratio is almost back to 50%.I am at 49.6% right now and hope to get back into the upper half by next month.Climbing the ladder after falling down to almost 30% has been tough.I highly recommend that new comers really watch your ratio and do not let it drop too far. continue reading

Sales Drop....

I am so disappointed with my June sales, because it's only 7 images downloaded.I have no idea, why my sales is drop. My monthly average sales is about 20 images or about $20 something. I hope my sales will raising again for the next month. continue reading
